We're building waste management for air pollution.
Sandbox Enviro is a Chicago-based environmental services company helping businesses measure, treat, and manage air pollution with less complexity, greater efficiency, and a lower total cost of ownership.
Our inspiration comes from trash and recycling: ubiquitous services that work because they are simple, reliable, and easy to ignore. Customers should not need to manage pollution-control equipment, media replacement, sensor calibration, or reporting. They should be able to set up the system once and let the service run in the background. Sandbox Enviro is making that possible for air pollution.
Sandbox Enviro began as Sandbox Carbon, focused on practical carbon management for distributed combustion sources. As customers asked for the same service model across odors, particulates, VOCs, diesel exhaust, and indoor air quality, the platform expanded.
